Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan
As the tagline goes, ‘Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshen’ is the ‘story of a man who has more limitations’. A new storyline and presentation style is adopted in the film. ‘Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshen’ is set in a village in Kattappana in Idukki. The movie revolves around a film lover who tries hard to become an actor, though he has no special qualities for the same. The role is done by Vishnu Unnikrishnan, one of the scriptwriters of the film. When his father (played by Siddique) could not accomplish his long wish to be an actor, he marries a beautiful girl and tries to get his dream fulfilled through his children. But to his utter dismay his son is not a handsome guy. The struggles of this young man to become an actor are plotted in the movie. ‘Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshen’ conveys a social message through a humorous narrative pattern. The script is penned by Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Bibin George. Prayaga Martin and Lijomol do the female leads. Rahul Madhav, Siju Wilson, Salim Kumar, Siddique, Kottayam Nazeer, Kalabhavan Shajon, Jaffer Idukki, Kalabhavan Haneef, Eroor George, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Pradeep Kottayam, Vinod Kedamangalam, Subrahmanian Bolgatty, Swasika, and Seema G Nair also include the cast. The lyrics by Santhosh Varma, B K Harinarayanan, and Nadirshah are tuned by Nadirshah. The cinematography is done by Shyamdutt. The movie is produced jointly by Dr Zacharia Thomas and Dileep under the banners of United Global Media Entertainment and NAD Group. ‘Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshen’ is the first production venture of the banner NAD Group.
